Laura Serio
Laura is our spotlight employee for this edition of Setting the Standard. Laura joined us in July of 2021. It’s no coincidence that we share our last name as she is my sister-in-law. Laura manages our shipping, and she is proud to be responsible for making sure our great products make it to our dealers’ customers. Her attention to detail in final inspection and quality packaging are integral to the production cycle. She is a team player and is always willing to do whatever is needed of her. She is learning more and more production skills in our signage division working with lasers. Laura had spent 20 years with a medical supply company until they moved out of the area. Their loss was a big win for AC Wellman!
Laura was born in Garfield Heights and started working at the tender age of 13. Her first job was at a playground making $1.50 per hour. From there her family moved to Twinsburg where she met my brother Sal. When not working Laura loves the outdoors, riding with her husband Sal on his Harley and walking her dog.
