Reunion pizza party with Small Business alumni

This month I celebrated my graduation from the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business program. The program is a no cost, 10-week, business education. It focuses on learning about all aspects of running and growing your business. It is what I needed after many years of business experience as a refocusing of my goals and plans. In addition to subjects like digital marketing, finances, accounting, sales and strategic planning, the program is designed to create a networking environment with other participants. The ability to network and hear how other unrelated businesses solve similar issues allowed time to think from different perspectives as I plan and execute my day-to-day opportunities. One year later I still network with several classmates on many topics of business and our friendships. Like any other investment or commitment, you will get out of it as much as you invest in it! As I look back on this year it is very gratifying to see how well we executed our growth plan.

If you are interested in learning more about the program, feel free to contact me or you can go to the national website. Our local Outreach Manager Heidi Zeltner is also happy to answer any questions you may have. Email Heidi.Szeltner@tri-c.edu or call (216) 987-3162.
