Grilled Chicken alla Limone
Serves 4-6

This quarter’s recipe is a simple grilled chicken that is sure to please. This marinade recipe can be used for breasts, thighs, or drumsticks. Using chicken on the bone is a great way to add variety to your grilled chicken offerings.


  • 8 piece bone in chicken package – two breasts, two thighs, two drumsticks and two wings(any combination will do). I prefer to remove skin but your preference
  • Two medium fresh lemons squeezed (juice)
  • 1/3 cup EVOO
  • 1/3 cup white wine
  • 1 Tbsp dried whole leaf oregano
  • 1 tsp whole leaf Basil
  • 1 Tbsp sea salt


Mix all marinade ingredients together and whisk together. Add chicken and allow to marinade for 2-4 hours. Heat grill and grill chicken basting with leftover marinade often. Allow chicken to grill and darken. When chicken reaches 165 degrees remove from grill and serve with your favorite sides.
