Summertime is full of all sorts of great seasonal treats. Fresh produce is optimal and there is nothing like fresh tomato salad. One of my favorite activities during the spring and summer into fall is tending to my garden. The rewards of picking fresh produce from your garden trumps any satisfaction one would get from cutting the grass! I enjoy the evening pruning and tying up the peppers and tomatoes. Relaxing after a hectic day at work and the many rewards at harvest makes vegetable gardening one of my favorite summer activities. If you have your own garden send me a photo, if you don’t consider starting one next year with a small patch or container gardening on your patio.
